http://www.pvnutritionaltherapy.com/five-reasons-i-dont-recommend-going-vegetarian-part-ii/
These two articles consists 5 reasons on why vegetarianism is bad. I admire how this author starts his argument based on experience, he states that it all DEPENDS on the vegetarian. He's actually quite right on an issue of vegetarians, there are many healthy vegetarians out there but then there are many more unhealthy vegetarians. This happens because people are not well educated on the diet part of this lifestyle. Well the five reasons listed on these articles are:
1. Often leads to sugar addiction
This brings me back to the point where it all depends on the person. I personally rarely consume sugar.
2. Modern dairy is not healthy
This is quite true, but a vegetarian needs to be properly educated so a vegetarian would need to know the difference of real on conventional milk and go from there.
3. Diet high in grains
Can be solved by choosing eggs over cereal, soup over rice, etc.
4. Diet high in soy
Can be solved by choosing fermented soy products over unfermented soy products.
5. Not native thus does not support local food systems
buying products such as tofurky solves this issue.
